18/06/2008 We stayed in a cottage. Very clean and located in a nice green zone. Recommendable. We booked via vakantiegenoegens. Interesting price. Reception was fine and the maintenance of the camping was excellent.

05/05/2008 We will return for the sixth time this year and we're very curious whether the changes at / around the camping have been executed yet. Our family always has a good time here and there also are other families that return year after year. The camping is fine and the platja is also pleasant.

12/03/2008 In the summer of 2006 we stayed on the camp-site in a rented tent, pleased us very well and the children also, nice flat, good pools and cosy town and beautiful beach, we are going again this year.

19/03/2008 We have been coming to this camp-site for over 10 years, this summer too we will return for 4 weeks.
Everything is tidy and neat.
2 beautiful shops and 2 very beautiful pools. approximately 1km from the beach and centre.
The sanitary facilities are very neat, cleaned several times per day.
CERTAINLY A MUST.

01/09/2007 From the 20th - the 31st of August we stayed at this camping, in a fully-equipped family tent. We had a super vacation. The sanitary got cleaned all day long. There were 2 pools with not too cold water in them. At the camping there were many shady spots. We weren't bothered a lot by other campers. In our "street" there were Dutch, people from Poland, Germans and British. It was very cosy. The beach and the city were walking distance, but you could also go there by car, because you could park everywhere for free.

29/08/2007 We stayed here in a rented tent for 2 weeks. The front of our tent was located right next to the terrace of a couple of Spaniards, who had some hearing problems (they turned the volume up high while watching tv). At the back of our tent the same thing. They constantly were yelling at eachother (because they couldn't hear well). So it got really noisy. The camping had some lovely sanitary, but they were only cleaned well at the spots where the Spaniards stayed with a season spot. The entertainment was actually only for the Spaniards; they didn't do anything for children from other countries. A lovely camping, but the great number of Spaniards kind of ruined it. We won't be going back to this camping again. The pool was good though. The beach and centre are walking distance. If you want a good sleep, then don't go here.

21/08/2007 A big and clean camping. Too bad it had too small pools for such a crowd. The spots were too small for bigger tents. Many shades. We weren't bothered at all by the Spaniards. There were many Dutch there, very cosy. The sanitary was okay, not great. The place where you had to clean your dirty dishes wasn't that clean. People just didn't clean up their spaghetti from the sink bowl. Platja d'aro was fun (but crowded) and was walking distance. The beach wasn't meant for little kids. St. Pol at S'agaro is more suitable for little kids; less deep water there. We had a nice vacation.

08/12/2007 We have been to Valldaro for the 4th time this year and still we are very satisfied and look forward to going there again next year. Like always, the sanitary facilities are cleaned in the morning and at night, and the general cleanliness nevertheless is a positive thing. Perhaps you have also noticed that you are not troubed by mosquitos or bees although there were some flies for the first time this year. In fact, you need not leave the camp-site, if you do not want to because there is enough present on the camp-site. Also at the reception everyone is always helpful and you can numerous excursions books there or you can go to playa d'aro by yourself. A must are certainly the Dutch bar friends which you will meet on the boulevard in the direction of the stone on the playa d'aro. We know the area already reasonably well now and on different camp-sites in the region we have compared campsites but valldaro continues to enjoy our preference, both my own, my spouse's and the children's.
