Reviews Campsite L'Amfora ****

We have been coming to this area of Spain for many years and L'Amfora is one of the best Camp sites in the area and if you use Camping Cheques one of the best value for money. Most pitches are enormous and if there are two unites they can be sited back to back. The down side is the cheques are not accepted after June and not again until Sept. The beach has direct access from the site and the beach bar is a definitely worth a stop or two. The pools are great as well. The whole camp is locked and patrolled at night. It is a top site.

Fine camping but we're leaving end of June due to the horseflies, very annoying and invisible. Half of the guests have itchy swellings, that often will get infected as well.

Nice camping and very well maintained furniture. Really recommendable. The food in the camping restaurant is good, the service is worthless though. The nearby restaurant Mas Guso is great. A small downside is that the toddler pool opens not before the end of June.

Large well run site beside beach. Reception friendly and helpful and excellent sanitary facilities. All amenities you would expect from a large site.

This is just the perfect camping. Big but you won't notice that in May/June. We used the camping cheques. They score mainly on the big spots and the clean facilities. But the swimming pool is good as well and the restaurant serves some tasty food. One of the supervisors was strict but perhaps he had to be. Despite the weather, which wasn't very spanish, we still had a great time here on this nice camping. You can buy a plethora of things in the campingstore, even camping goods.
