18/02/2013 Having just returned from (another) week in this hotel, my husband and I are still smiling. Everything is 100% as it should be. Very, very good food, perfect cleaning, nice rooms, good entertainment, VERY good staff, perfect ! My husband and I are ordinary people (with ordinary maners/ clothing), so do not wonder if the 5 ½ stars is too …… glamourus for you – it isn’t. It’s classy in a down to earth way.

29/06/2008 We just came back from hotel Villa del Conde. We were satisfied. Kind personnel, lovely rooms, excellent food. The entertainment was good and enough variation there. We can recommend this place. We enjoyed ourselves!

18/06/2008 We stayed at this hotel in May. Inspired by this website we booked this place. The breakfast was good, little variation though, but tasty! The lunch was not that good, little choice and pricy. The dinner was varied every night, but still...little choice. The dessert was very poor (not tasty at all), little variation. We had to run to get ourselves some tasty desserts. Otherwise the tasty desserts were taken and waiting for a refill was not recommendable. The service during the last day was poor. We were not able to eat here and had to leave at 21:00 o'clock. I never experienced something like this! They will not see us again.

03/06/2008 :-( If they pour different pots of coffee together and throw them on the table without being ashamed for it in a five star hotel… Floors are covered with food around the buffets. Quickly get your meal because if it's out, they don't fill it up. Buffets the same every time, no fresh juice, miserly with fresh fruits, salmon of the day before will become salmon salad and even salmon mousse the next day. Unfriendly service - food at the poolbar is incredibly bad, not eadible. Reserve a sun bed on time with a towel or there will be no room for you. Beautiful reception, but the hotel looks a little like an amusement park, fake and made. Rooms look nice but are very thin-walled (dependant on your neighbours). You can hear everything (toilets etc.). Shows are all right, there's nothing to do from 11.00 PM and the disco is deserted. Where did they get those five stars? We really thought this was a waste of money!

03/09/2007 Fantastic hotel! Service is excellent. We arrived in the middle of the night and got an upgrade to senior suite, room 2251 with all the benefits, such as multiple cleaning sessions, bath towels in the room, newspaper every day, two enormous terraces, at the boulevard (right at the beach) and free one-time thalasso. Cleaning could be better, especially concerning the terrace. Meals were reasonable but the service was perfect. Entertainment was all right. No playground.
Fine, pleasant hotel, especially for families with small children. 1 downside: very noisy.

25/08/2007 We stayed at this fantastic hotel for the second time this year. Of course, not without a reason. It's still a very good hotel. One of the nice things about it is that it has multiple swimming pools, so that you can enjoy your 'own' pool in peace. The service is correct and neat.
Breakfast and dinner (buffets) are good and have plenty to choose from. Lunch is á la carte. A must!!!!

23/08/2007 We thought this hotel was great and will certainly go back some time!

Ask your travel agency which building you'll get. We were in F on the 3rd floor and we thought it was very noisy. That shouldn't happen in this category. Food: plenty to choose from and tasty, and there are also plenty of restaurants in the area.

The hotel is peacefully located, about 10 to 15 minutes from the boulevard which has many luxurious shops. Nice place to have a walk in the evening, or to go shop or have a drink at an outside café.
The entertainment was for adults more than it was for kids. There's a half an hour of mini disco at night, which the kids love.
Some shows and/or performances were nice and others weren't really, as a whole it wasn't spectacular enough for us to have to hurry so that we wouldn't miss something. In short: if you want to go to Gran Canaria, just stay at this hotel.

22/06/2008 We came back today after a great week at this place! The hotel was beautiful, just like the large room. The beds were rather uncomfortable and the rooms were rather noisy. The breakfast was fine, i did not see any sad faces around here. We did not eat at the hotel during the evening, but visited restaurants in the area. The night we arrived we ordered room service. It was not tasty at all. The sandwiches at the pool were not eatable. The personnel sees to it that people do not put their towels on the reclining chairs, but there are enough chairs available. It was very crowded during our stay, but we did not notice it at all. It is great. The talasso is worth trying.
