12/06/2008 The guy at the reception was sulky. We did not feel welcome. The rooms were good, the cleaning was okay, the restaurant was definitely not worth the four stars given to it. Too little food available. They did not consummate it in time. The service at the restaurant and bar was good and fast though. I would like to compliment them. The manager was very grumpy, not a single good morning to this guests. The toilets downstairs were very dirty most of the time. We can not understand how someone would give this hotel four stars. We are used to more luxury from a four star hotel.

13/05/2008 Went to hotel Aya for a week in the May holidays of 2008. Magnificent hotel, very nice location at the sea. Rooms are beautiful and tidy. We had sea sight; magnificent. Swimming pool is also beautiful. Breakfast is good, a lot of variation. Minus point are the mattresses, these are very hard. There is also some hindrance of the traffic at the boulevard at night and the screaming people coming from the bars. Furthermore, a superb hotel. A recommend!

09/09/2007 The rooms were really noisy. The rooms are too small. There are lots of Germans. The pool is too small as well. The food is boring and the bathroom smells. The view from the balcony was awful (pine trees). The staff in the lobby weren't very nice! Try and book a room with a view of the sea!!! The pictures in the brochure aren't accurate. The staff won't help you. The Hostess didn't even bother to show up. Lots of people put down their towels. You can even organise groups of people to keep a deckchair available for you. The hotel was fairly clean. Will never come and stay here again. Only stayed here because the hotel we had originally booked was full (that hotel was actually really nice). The rest of our stay was really nice.

01/09/2007 The hotel and its rooms are very clean. In all respects a great hotel with an excellent service. Pleasant staff, especially in the restaurant. The breakfast buffet as well as the dinner buffet have a broad choice of products. The rooms are cleaned neatly every day. This hotel can certainly be recommended.

23/08/2007 We stayed at hotel Aya for two weeks during August 2007. A nice hotel, a great location, a nice sea view when staying at a room on the fifth floor (you can ask for it). No noise pollution at this room. The cleaning and breakfast are ok. A lot of youngsters around during August, a lot of noise pollution. Especially German youngsters.

21/08/2007 We stayed at Aya for the third time. A great location, close to the beach and a lovely sea view. Poor food, little variation. The food was served cold most of the time. Kind and quick waiters though. They renovated the rooms. Wasn't too satisfied about the cleaners. Price/quality-ratio: poor. 1200 Euro is too expensive for a two week stay!

09/08/2007 Good hotel, very neat rooms and friendly staff. The swimming pool and the garden surrounding it are nice to relax in. The room with a view of the sea was terrific. (Only a little noisy at night when German tourists returning from clubbing were roaming in the streets), but in the hotel it is quiet, the food is good, and especially Jose (the waiter) is a very nice guy. In other words, we had a brilliant holiday.
