10/02/2011 We liked this hotel a lot. Love to go back.. the only thing is that we did not like Menorca that well. It's a small island... so if you stay in the Hotel.. GREAT! If you want to go on a advanture.. well we could't find it.

Hotel is great for kids.. we loved kiko!

28/06/2008 We stayed here with our 2 year old son for 1 week (19-26 June) and it was better than we had expected.
We wanted and got a sun/sea/beach holiday: fantastic that the sea is so near and the pools are large and fun and really aimed at small children (despite the slippery floor). The entertainment was super. Our son has never had more fun than at the children's disco.
Not so great: the buildings are indeed poorly insulated but when children are tired they'll sleep through anything. The food was sometimes overcooked but there was variation and the fish was very good.
So far the first location we would consider going back to as long as our kids are small.

28/06/2008 It was a very nice holiday! The staff - ranging from maid to bar tender - is very nice and child-friendly. Everything is allowed, you can ask anything. But in fact you don't need to ask for anything; everything has been well taken care of. I did find it alarming that my child suffered from very hot water in the bath all of a sudden. I also experienced it. VERY dangerous. After that I paid close attention and kept my child away from the faucet. The mattresses were also very hard, ouch, .... but I've experienced that before in Spain. I must say that this is better in the Netherlands. My kid had a fantastic and I bought KIKO's DVD so he can enjoy it back home. HAHA.

25/06/2008 We had a great holiday at Club Royal Son Bou, a well taken care of and clean residence, extraordinarily friendly staff who were all very sweet to our 1,5 year old daughter. She had a good time in Kikoland and there was a Kiko show every night. Every week a parade through the park with marching-girls and band and the entertainment puppets; very nice to watch. The little ones are number 1 here.
Buffet is much the same but good, extensive and well taken care of. Lovely beach at just a few minutes' walk. We found the paddling pool disappointing (cold water and very slippery) and the apartments are very thin-walled and the mattresses are rock hard.
Other than that nothing but praise! For families with small children this is perfect.
The town of Son Bou isn't much but it does offer everything such as shops, restaurants, supermarket and drug store. If you want to see something you can take the bus or rent a car.
