03/06/2008 It is a great and cosy place. The location was not all that. It is very high and hilly. It is a stiff climb to the boulevard/beach, especially with a buggy. We only ate breakfast at this place. Little varied, not what I expect from RIU. We did not take the supper. You are able to eat at the boulevard near the lovely beach, reasonable prices and the food is very tasty. The apartments were very large and clean, maybe a bit old-fashioned, but everything you need is there. They cleaned this place every day and gave us clean sheets and towels for the pool. Good entertainment. Unfortunately no Dutch entertainment. The mini discos and shows were fun. I can recommend Costa Adeje. It is a great place, very cosy and you will not get bored.

05/09/2007 This hotel is fine. It could do with a little new paint here and there, but that is the only negative thing we can think of. We had a wonderful room on the ground floor with a patio in front, close to the kids' pool. This hotel is a real family hotel, so if you do not like children, do not go here. The food was great, incredibly friendly staff (unlike anything i've ever seen) and a tidy room and clean swimming pool. Cats do walk around but we found this enjoyable. A final word of advice: go to the El Duque beach, it is much prettier than the rest.

01/09/2007 I don't understand what everybody is complaining about. I myself stayed in a very neat room. Situated on the groundfloor though. I heard that the rooms on higher levels are a bit smaller and need to be renovated. The food was just fine. Also the entertainment team was good. You have indeed have to get up really early in order to get a lawn chair. But I cannot understand all the negative comment. The Dutch traveler should think about the fact that they are on holiday in a different country to theirs with different customs. If you don't want that, stay at home!

02/09/2007 We had higher expectations of this accommodation because the name of 'Rui' was on the façade. In our app there was only one functioning socket, there was a fridge that buzzed loudly all the time and the sink leaked. Otherwise the beds were only cleaned once, during a 12 day stay. The pool also wasn't very clean with as an all-time low the turd that was on the side of the pool. Furtermore, there were cats all over the place that did their nature's call everywhere, like in the kiddies' pool, the sandpit and the terrace near the restaurant at the pool.
