29/05/2008 Fine accomodation for the price you pay. They're busy renovating something or other, which is necessary but this doesn't mean that it is decayed, but a little old though. It is tidy, practical and clean. You can have a delightfully relaxed holiday here with a delicious swimming pool, friendly staff and fine service.

19/05/2008 It were beautiful appartments, a part was being renovated. Good surveillance at the swimming pool and at the appartments in the evenings at all times. The rooms were cleaned five times a week and towels were also refreshed then.

16/05/2008 Fine accomodation! Good location, small walk to the beach. Swimming pool is not heated but our 8 months old baby had no problems with it. Beach fine, breakfast fine. Wide appartment (we had a 6 person appartment with 3 kids). There are some steps and stairs in the appartments (regarding your buggy).

11/05/2008 Bed mattresses need to be replaced immediately, the springs almost penetrate it.
The appartments need maintenance, we didn't dare entering 1 terrace (at the bedroom). The door to the terrace is completed rotted away.

02/05/2008 We went to Costa Adeje for 8 days (23 April to 30 April). We really liked it here. We booked bed and breakfast, in which the breakfast was very expanded and varied every morning. The rooms were very tidy, were cleaned every day (except on Sundays), towels were changed every day. Because this concerns an appartment we had the possibility to cook if we wanted to. Behind our appartment we also had a wide terrace where you could sit both in and out the sun. The swimming pool of the hotel was also cleaned several times a day and looked very clean.

You saw that they were busy improving the complex (maintenance / renovation) but we didn't experience any inconvenience due to this.

07/09/2007 We had a fantastic trip, thanks to the car we could escape the Castalia condo daily. The swimmingpools appear to be one big swimmingpools but it is still rather small and the chairs around it were occupied early each day by people who throw their towels over a chair and then just leave. The appartments were out of date and the sofa bed was broken. The radio did not work and the TV was repaired after a week of daily nagging at the reception. It would be nice if there was some form of entertainment (other than the 2 karoke shows which ended early). Childfriendly? Does that refer to the heavily damaged pooltable outside? Or do they mean the tiny swimmingpool of 4metres width in the adjacent condo? After a communal complaint we were given spray cans to extinguish the cockroaches within our building (255). And tastes differ concerning food, but we gladly swapped the (paid for) meals for one of the many delicious restaurants in the neighbourhood. The difference betweem 3 and 4 stars in Adaje is ENORMOUS!

07/09/2007 We went to beautiful Tenerife. The only downside of this journey is the hotel. The first impression is nothing like the pictures showed us. The swimmingpools appeared to be big, but are very small and they seemed to be built around the houses, but this is not true. From 9.30pm onwards it was a very slow affair there, no entertainment at all. On Wednesday and Sunday there was a karaoke show, but they cancelled that too, as there was not enough interest for it. If you had to spend time in your rooms, this was not a success either, as the appartments were really small (especially with the two chairs changed into beds for the children). There was no TV or radio, only after we spend 7 days of filing a complaint each day, the TV dish was repaired. Some amongst you will think that on a holiday you don't really need a TV? But there was hardly anything else to do for our children on a night. Daily cleaning? In our condo we only received spray cans to distinguish the cockroaches after we made a combined complaint. Thank god we had a car with us to go ELSEWHERE for our meals! Next time we will go for a place with 4 stars or else a place that deserves its 3 stars!!!

02/09/2007 A very pleasant appartment, well looked after. With a coffeemachine, wonderful. However, the beds were very bad, very hard and you could feel the springs coming through them. We actually wondered why we go on holiday when you really have got everything at home, and you sleep well there. But otherwise it was great, we had a really good holiday.
