09/02/2008 Great location, views of monch, eiger and jungfrau. Not snow sure but when thers snow nice skiing. Small and overseeable area good for kids. Enough hotels and restaurants but not much else. Interlaken nearby.

02/01/2008 Sprawled village, no real center, not good for atmosphere, surrounded by berner oberland mountains. No apres ski, 2 ski areas not connected. Good for beginners. Europes top for hiking in my opinion.

23/07/2007 Beatenberg is a nice village at 1100m. In the center you will find restaurants. Located on the sunny southside of the niederhorngebied, nice mountain views. Family friendly skiing, ski school too. Hohwald doesnt always have snow Go to niederhorn or jungfr
