19/05/2008 We just got back from Graceland. Great value for money. Booked it in Belgium. Everything is well taken care of, we also booked excursions through the tour operator, a bit more expensive compared to buying it on the street but you're also buying a bit of security. Hotel is very beautiful, breakfast is very good. The rest of your meals you can have somewhere else, it is rather cheap. The people are very friendly. They try to sell you all kinds of things on the street, but if you say no politely they will stay just as friendly. Wonderful country. They don't speak English very well indeed but you will understand each other in no time and it's kind of charming too. Just book it. We flew with Etihad, super planes, good service on board. Stop-over in Abu Dhabi and Bangkok.

13/05/2008 Rudy We just got back from Graceland and had a gorgeous journey. For us there were no disadvantages about this hotel. Who has a problem with it better stays in Europe. The people try very hard, are very helpful and try to make everyone feel comfortable. They don´t speak English very well but so what, they can always understand you if you make a bit of an effort. I would recommend everyone to book half board. The food is very good and otherwise you better start looking now because there are not many proper restaurants outside. The fish is lying in the sun (on ice but still) and in the smog from the cars all day long. They mostly cook on the street which isn't hygienic at all. The following excursions are recommendable; the crater, Krabi, Phi Phi Islands and the Phuket Safari.

16/05/2008 Beautiful hotel from the outside and beautiful swimming pool. Lobby very beautiful too etc. Breakfast was great, everything is baked a la minute... And in my opinion everything is fresh too. The reception staff were very rude with checking in/ out (which I am not used to with Thai people). They didn't even ask us why we left 4 days early while we had already paid for everything (then you don't feel like an appreciated guest...). The rooms are not very special by the way, I think the hotel is a bit aged or it isn't very well maintained. All in all: nice for once but not worth to be repeated.

13/05/2008 Had a brilliant holiday, no negative comments. The staff really tried their best. Everything was very tidy and clean and then the Christmas atmosphere they create; very recommendable. We stayed in the main building and it wasn't noisy at all. I would go back immediately. Hope they will soon have a special offer again.

10/12/2007 A nice hotel. We stayed in a Deluxe room with a balcony and a safe deposit. A view of a construction site and a mosque. The mosque caused a lot of noise. The room were poor. Big cracks in the wall and it leaked. A dirty fridge. The shower head was broken.

05/12/2007 An excellent hotel, kind personnel. We had a great time. We loved the sauna with professional therapists. It was worth it. It was lovely. A lovely environment with sun, sea and beach. Just hire a motor and drive away. We'll come back for sure.
