25/06/2008 The hotel is wonderful! Every room has a balcony and a seat, a bath and a lovely powerful shower (jet). The staff is very friendly and helpful. The beach was just like a 'bounty beach', wonderful water with cute reed sun screens. It was all for free. For a few dinar you can go to the aqua park at the harbour (Port el Kantaui?). I will go back as soon as I can!

24/06/2008 There was one minus; the airco as mentioned on the website had not been connected. The Sunday morning after we arrived we reported this to our hostess Anneke who said that the hotel hardly ever turns on the airco during the slow season. She would however ask again because the weather forecast said that it would be about 43 degrees for two days.

Unfortunately the airco was still off, whereas on Monday and Tuesday the local temperatures rose to 46 degrees. You will understand that this didn't help getting some night's rest.

23/06/2008 Together with my daughter I was here for a week and we had a great time. The locals and the hotel staff are very nice. Despite the fact that we are blond and young nobody bothered us in the streets. The hotel is at walking distance from the cosy centre and the beach. The hotel is somewhat outdated but clean and has comfortable beds. The food is simple but it's hot (which often is not the case) and is regularly replenished. We had a room at the sunny and quiet back side, the front borders a busy street with sea view. The pool is small and there are about 20 sun beds. This doesn't seem much but most people don't use them and go to the beach instead.

24/09/2007 Fine hotel for a small price. The staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were kept clean at all times, the food was delicious.
