During breakfast (some slices of tough old baquettes) the staff constantly tried to promote and sell excursions to us. We weren't interested, since the prices for the same excursions on the beach amounted to only half the price. After rejecting a number of things, we were compeltely ignored.
Furthermore it was prohibited to take food and drinks (even bottles of water) to the hotel chamber, because of hygiene matters, or so they said. Furthermore, pieces of garments were missing a few times after cleaning.
At the pool a complete list of rules applies. If you want to swim, you are very well watched. We think that it can be a nice hotel, if you consume a lot there and do not care for privacy. If you are however intent on only using the hotel as a place to sleep, you should absolutely not go here.
Gumbet is, however, a very nice place.
