24/05/2008 The hotel is very tidy. Hygiene is also great and the rooms look good. Location could be better, you must walk about 2.5 kms to the centre. For the sporty type this isn't a problem, for those who do not like the idea much, a taxi is a good option. (3-5 euros).I found the food very bad. Many local dishes and few international dishes. Little meat and no sweet sandwich filling for example at breakfast and lunch. Do you have children? Take along your own stuff, I noticed several families did this and I will do it too from now on. Hotel's shop is twice as expensive as te shops in the city, therefore be smart and buy in the city. After your arrival, you are quickly approached by the hammam and massage guru from the hotel. He offers you a guided tour and only take this if you really intend to go to the hamam. Because, as it happens, it is hard to get rid of him… My conclusion: A fine hotel, good service and you had better book half board. Food in Alanya is not expensive (about 7 euros p.p.) and a lot nicer and more cosy.
