that was my fear too. Im still trying to work this out as on another map the hotel appears to be located near to this road but on the same side as the beach. When I find the map again I will repost on here.

Just been on trip advisor and somebody has put on their review that yes there is a 6 lane motorway between hotel and beach, but the beach is accessable via a tunnel from the hotel. Im unsure what to do now because I went into first choice 3 days ago with the same worry and was reassured that it was on the same side as the beach. Also I booked this hotel a last year as soon as 2011 holidays became available, and there was no mention in the brochure and no mention in the 2012 brochure either. As if id have known this i wouldnt have booked the hotel as i have 3 young children! What to do???????? Wait and see what its like or complain now?????

you can get to the beach by a tunnel under the road i read here on the website from arke.nl in holland

If there is a tunnel under the road then that is better than having to navigate the roads. I have been on tripadvisor and the reviews are very hit and miss. All very confusing but any information I get I will post. Thanks to those who have responded.

There is a subway from the main pool area under the road to the beach

yer flying from stanstead, put any london airport and was given that lol, but otel looks fab and the feedback sounds ok considering its new and things go wrong in the beginning
