Great destination for sun, sea and sand, but also has some terrific history both quite locally and further afield. The harbour area is delightful (had a great fish meal) and the little streets full of small shops should mean everyone should find something they would like. The museum is worth a visit as this gives you a real feel for the depth of Turkish history. The local buses are fun to use and will take you all over very cheaply. If you have the time you can also visit further afield. The rock tombs of Myra being one of my favourites.
