28/09/2010 For Europeans the prices depend on the exchange rate as the Diram follows the dollar. High Euro low prices. Excellent restaurants at very reasonable prices. Fish Market Meridien is a must. There is a restaurant for every taste. Can only drink alcohol in top hotels but no problem because the restos are in the same hotels.
Dont go July/August as 50° and 90% humidity is a bit much. The shopping centers often have an attraction iside ski slope/giant aquariums/ice rink etc. Beaches are really wonderful but watch for sunburn. Right time to visit as due to the crisis you can stay in a top hotel for a very reasonable price. Only for people that are not looking for a lot of site seeing because there aint much.

13/02/2008 We think Dubai is great. I can also recommend a trip to one of the other Emirates such as Hatta or you could go to Oman. The beaches are amazing and the food is lovely and it's cheap too.

21/02/2008 I went to stay there for three weeks during the summer so I could work for the Dubai Drydocks. It was 47 degrees during the day and 40 at night which wasn't too nice. The people weren't great either. Lots of construction sites everywhere. Wouldn't come an

22/02/2008 Dubai really is a fascinating Emirate. It's an amazing beautiful place with a dynamic and progressive standard of business and architecture. This is a destination that I can recommend to everybody who has wide interests and considers themselves cultured.
