The hotel is located 500 m away from the center and 100 m away from the beach. Both are easy to reach. The hotel has a simple but good swimming pool and a "private beach" with palm trees and sun beds where children can play relatively safe. The hotel is simple, the beds average but when you are in Miami you shouldn't stay in your hotel room. The staff are friendly and hospitable but not very service minded unless you pay them to be, just like anywhere else in the US. The prices are reasonable considering the location and the dollar exchange rate. And of course you only get big portions. But in Holland on the beach you pay a lot as well so don't be applying double standards. You're better of having dinner in town. Parking costs 25 dollars a day.
Nice hotel, cross the garden and you're on the beach. Ideal!
I spent here 5 days with my friend, it was lovely! The location is perfect. It's not expensive for a simple hotel. We didn't expect top quality, it's only 3 stars. We were really satisfied. Behind the hotel there are some hammocks where you can relax and take a path down to the beach.
We just got back from our trip, we've been to this hotel twice. Everything looks spick and span just the bathroom needs some renovation, nice location ath the beach, 10 minutes away from Ocean Drive and the shopping street. Parking is expensive and the price depends much on the season. 1st week we paid $25 a night, second week $20 a night.
