We just got back from a trip through the States. Hotel was a bit pricy but the location is great. We booked via internet. Hotel is located on 8th ave and 34th street. We got a free upgrade to another room. Bathrooms are small though. A lot of cupboard space. Pennstation is 30 yards away. Everything is nearby, Empire state building, Times Square. A lot of shops and restaurants, bars around. Go to Apple Greeter as well. You can eat at Thank God It's Friday or a local takeout restaurant. $18 for 3 persons.
Jus got back, rather would've stayed! Fine hotel, small rooms but nice and clean. We received breakfast coupons which saves you $10 at Tick Tock ! Across the street is a place called Friday's, awesome food and the cheapest we ever had in New York! You can catch a bus to Harlem or Penn station from the hotel. A lot of fun spots around as well, just walk. If you go downtown take the subway though!
In the middle of the jungle. A great location, close to the underground station, train station, Macy's and K-Mart. We shared a lovely room with a party of three on the 18th floor with two bathrooms. Enough space. A nice Deli across the hotel for some breakfast or shopping.
We stayed at this hotel two years ago. A perfect location. A central location close to some places of interest. Large rooms. A nice taxi service to the airport. I liked the Lincoln with tinted windows. Kind personnel. We didn't need them though. We ate at some American diners. I'd love to go back.
