We were on a budget so we stayed at this hotel. I have to say though, it was one of the better hotels i ever stayed at. The hotel isn't much to look at, a stair before you could even reach the front desk, front desk employee looked like he didn't sleep in a week, flickering tv in the background. But when we reached the room, a big change! We had our own bathroom, spick and span, clean towels and sheets daily. Airco, a lot of cupboard space and mirrors, tv, fridge, microwave. Bit noisy but that's New York. Location is great, not as hectic as Times Square, not as 'hip' and dirty as Soho but a clean place with several restaurants, pubs and Starbucks. A lot of public transportation around as well, 4 buses and 5 subways, only 10 minutes to travel downtown. Central Park 2 blocks away, all this for $80 a night!
