We've had a fantastic time on our 2 week stay here in July. It is the best run camp site we have ever been on, the owners, their family and staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them. We had the larger sized pitch and like most of them it was absolutely massive, ours had the benefit of 2 oak trees on it so we had the choice of full sun, shade or dappled sun to sit under.
Electricity was 12 Amps (my socket tester indicated reversed polarity on the incoming supply, I just reversed mine to suit), fresh water supply & grey water drainage are included, so no filling the aquaroll or draining the wastemaster - great idea.
A good mix of nationalities, mainly Dutch, French and English when we were there, no problem if you can't speak much French, nearly everyone speaks English very well, most signage is in French/English.
The take-away has fresh bread and pastries available every morning with 'Specials' on various nights. There is an assortment of activities available for young and old alike every day, it's there if you wish to join in, but they don't push it.
The covered pools were always busy, plenty of loungers available to top up your tan. The bar has Heiniken and a lovely but pokey Belgian beer Afflijen on tap along with cocktails (both alcoholic and non alcoholic) and some fabulous ice creams are there to be sampled.
The toilet blocks have showers, sink cubicals and the one nearest us had a baby changing area too, they are spaced around the site so never too far away, they are also spotless and unisex although some toilets have no seats for some reason.
We will be going back there again, the sooner the better.
