This is our third visit to this site, the location is excellent with a safe access and child activities away from the main vehicle entrance. There is plenty going on with the two bouncy castles 2 trampolines and an indoor play room making it great for families with children, yet you can still sit peacefully at the bar or the lakeside terrace and "take in the views". There are two swimming pools, one adults only and one with slides for the children. The action continues on the Zip wire course close to the main site for which you get a 10% discount for the daily fees from the site reception. The pitch locations are generous in size and are in full sun or sheltered by trees which ever is your preference. Water and drainage are close to each pitch however, some could do with upgrading and the drains are slow to empty if you are using your own onboard water system and need to empty your grey water. For Motorhome owners there is no on site emptying facilities/ servicing point which is not uncommon on some French sites but you can find the chemical toilet waste point alongside the shower block. You will need a continental to 3 pin round connector at this site and these are available from reception. The main shower block has been refurbished in the last few years, however the old block is in a serious need of a refurbishment and appears to be a little ignored but the site maintenance team who allowed the supplies to run out for at least two days in main season.
When we first visited this site in 2013 I described it in my review as 'rustic' and my opinion has not changed, you have everything here from an action packed holiday to a restful lakeside retreat you only have to walk along the lakeside for some 100yds to be completely 'away from it all' and sit with the fisherman and watch the sun go down.
