At first I thought Rhodos was my favorite (2006, Kreta 2003) but Kos has stolen my heart for 100%. Kos is a super relaxed island, the people are super friendly, easy going, almost everybody speaks reasonably good english and they aren't pushy. This island has something to offer for all, you can get anywhere by bike, public transportation is cheap (1 euro), a lot of beaches and the weather is just fantastic. There are plenty of things to view and we took some excursions. We took the island tour, boattrip Nyssiros, Lazy Day Cruise (islands Pserimos, Plate and Kalymnos) and a boattrip to Turkey. We had a superb time there at Alexandra Beach hotel, the people there were really customer friendly, helpful and we got the rest we were looking for. The hotel is located just outside Kos in Psalidi. The busstop is 50 meters away (1-2 minute walk). 50-100 meters away you can find several taverns with different price ranges and directly across the hotel you can find a supermarket that's open 7 days a week.

Quiet and beautiful accommodation. A lot of elderly folks. It's around a 40 minute walk to the centre. Friendly and good service.

It was fantastic! We had a great time during these 7 days. We hired bicycles the entire week and we were able to cycle to the city or the beach within 5 minutes. The apartment was very clean and we even had two bathrooms for the four of us. Kos is very beautiful and definitely worth visiting again.

Very simple, yet very clean hotel/apartment. The pool, deck chairs and the garden are very well maintained. Very correct and friendly personnel. The breakfast should have some more variation though, but the rest is perfect. The rooms are good and clean. Quite hard beds though.

Perfect hotel, only you need a bicycle if you want to visit Kos city everyday!

We stayed here from the 1st - the 10th of May 2008. The complex just started with the season. The rooms (apartments) are very good and complete. The personnel is very customer-friendly and really friendly, just like almost all inhabitants of Kos. The location is very favourable in relation to the city. The relax area, like the pool, is excellent, clean, quiet and there is no wind there. A good bar with tasty drinks and snacks, like a good Greek salad. We recommend to check out www.kosrestaurants.nl, to find a good restaurant. We have good experiences with restaurant-cafe Lithino, Taverna Nestoras and Old River. We don't recommend Hirodion. Have fun on Kos.

Good hotel. Nice pool. 24 hour reception is ideal. Location was wonderful, not too busy. City centre only 10 minutes by bicycle. Recommended!

Very child friendly. Clean rooms and nice area. Recommended to families with children.

This is a fine hotelroom (de luxe). From the chambermaid to the receptionist, in short every member of staff, was very friendly. Breakfast was adequate, although it could have done with a little more variety in the meat products. The hotel is well looked after with a magnificent garden and pool. Kos is a nice small-scaled island and it is really great that you can cycle wonderfully around Kos city. We will definitely return and then stay at Alexandra Beach hotel again.
