Reviews Aparthotel Niriides Beach ***

We reallu liked this appartment. The place was cleaned regurlarly and towels and sheets were changed often too. The bathroom had a showercurtain which is quite special for Greek hotels. The location is good. You are close to Kos city and the beach. The people are very kind and cooperative. Across from Niriides (towards Kos city) there is a restaurant, called Europe, where you can have wonderful meals and the atmosphere is cosy. A real must! In short, we had a wonderful holiday with beautiful weather. We will definitely return here.

We really liked this appartment. We can not give our opinion on the food in Niriides as we went elsewhere for evening meals. The location is good in all aspects. There is a nice and large pool. In short, we had a splendid holiday and we will come back here.

Kos was great, but do not got to Niriides. It is far from the centre and you need a bike all the time. The bus only costs 0,90 euros but is often crammed. Breakfast in the hotel is poor. The shower is small, there is not shower curtain and the showerhead is not fixed. The road to the hotel is very busy and the hotel is thin-walled anyway. There are only 2 sockets in the rooms and the cleaning is not done properly. The matresses were bad and the beds weren't big enough (about 6 feet). The food was dirty and the safe was tiny (20,00 euros/per week) and because of the price of the hotelroom I thought it was bad you still had to pay for the a/c. (4,00 per day). There was a lady at the reception who could not speak a word of English. Positive points: the large balcony, the fridge in the hotelroom and bartender Kyros smiles the entire day and makes nice hamburgers. For tips about Kos for good meals etc. feel free to mail us.

It is a shame that the staff behind the desk speaks English so poorly. Except for one person. There was not set time the cleaning ladies would come round, which wasn't nice either. But other than that we had a good stay in this appartment.

3 room appartment was a living room with three beds and one bedroom with one bed. Ocean and pool view, cleaning almost every day. Had a good time. 10 minutes by bike to kos city.

Upon arrival it looked really nice when we got into the appartment, but once inside it was not as nice. We were plagued by a complete ant colony in the kitchen and bathroom and at the neighbours' there were cockroaches. The pool is nice and close to the bar, which is good. The beaches are pebbled which is not very comfy to walk on. It is easy to get into town and it costs 0,90 euros to take a bus and renting a bike will cost you about 2 euros a day. Kos city is lively. The prices of the food and drinks are similar to ours.

We stayed here in October last year (in the appartments). The bartender was really kind and the same goes for the rest of the staff. Cheap bikes can be hired at the entrance of the hotel. In short, we can recommend it.
