A lovely accommodation. It was located in the middle of the harbour in an old fort. Nowadays it's a very luxurous Pousada. Be sure to take a room with seaview. Then you'll have a view on the highest mountain in Portugal and the sea. The rooms looked nice and modern, with a nice balcony with a seat. The beds were good too. The breakfast was delicious and had a lot of variation. There was a lot to do in the neighbourhood. The Peters Sport Cafe was close by. And Faial was such a cool place, because it was a sailing island; many nationalities. The island is definately worth a visit, also perfect to relax on when you're islandhopping; especially the Pousado is great!
