Reviews Hotel Elite Palace ***

I stayed in 2 Elite hotels whilst in Sweden: this one and the newly renovated Elite Park Avenue in Gothenburg. The Palace does not compare favourably with it's new sister hotel. It is clean, the service excellent, but there is no internet access in the rooms and the furnishings could do with a facelift.

The hotel was in a very good location, 7-8 mins walk to the nearest underground station, and not too far to actually walk to the city. The rooms were very spacious and the inclusive breakfast had such an extensive choice. Definite recommendation!

The hotel was very nice - clean rooms and a great breakfast buffet with a lot of variety (including various types of herring). The hotel is on the edge of the city though and its not in the bar/restaurant district. We got around this by getting the tourist card which entitles you to free transport on the metro - nearest metro station is about 350 metres away.
